St. Alphonsa Youth of Austin (SAYA) represents the youth community of St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic Church of Austin, Texas.

Mainly focusing on prayer meetings and social gatherings. In our efforts to build a stronger youth community, we have expanded our reach to fundraisers, charitable causes and national youth events. We are a service organization that is committed to giving back. We provide our youth with an opportunity to learn and grow from each other in our community through service and prayer.

 Our primary focus is to build a better future by helping the St. Alphonsa youth grow in fellowship.

WANT TO BE A PART OF SAYA LEADERSHIP TEAM (SLT)

By being in the leadership team you get a chance to lead a team of youth for various youth activities.

SAYA Leaders learn leadership skills by planning and executing a variety of community service and social activities.

In the middle school council or in high school council, youth leaders can volunteer for leadership roles.

THE DIOCESAN YOUTH APOSTOLATE (DYA)

The youth organization of the St. Thomas SyroMalabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago USA, the St. Thomas Diocese Youth Apostolate is a communion of youth groups, ministries and initiatives of our SyroMalabar parishes and missions in the United States. Simply put, the DYA is all youth and young adults who belong to the St. Thomas SyroMalabar Diocese of Chicago.

The Youth Apostolate is led by Bishop Mar Joy Alapatt, DYA Director Rev. Fr. Melvin Paul, and teams of national and regional youth coordinators in collaboration with Parish Pastors, Mission Directors and parish/mission youth coordinators and leaders.
